If you suffer from oily skin you may think that what you need to do is starve your skin from oil and make it dry out but that is not all true. You do want to help your skin limit the amount of oil it makes but not to the point it is dehydrated. The Best Face Masks - September 7th, 2009

Most people think when they put on mask that it is only for pimples or wrinkles and drawing impurities out well that is the case for a lot of masks but there are a lot of other masks that can help with other problems as well. If you have dry skin there are a lot of masks that will rehydrate your skin while you wear this mask. They leave the skin soft and moisturized for about a week and the best is to do one of these masks about once a week until your skin can stay hydrated longer then you can start backing off with them to about once a month.

Another great benefit of masks is if you have acne scars many of the masks you can get are exfoliating and that will really help you if you suffer from acne scars. It will also help you in between spa visits to help keep your face fresh in between visits if you can’t get to have a facial on time. There are many things you can accomplish with a great mask and most of them will help you with more than one problem at a time. They are a great way to get your face to what you really want it to be.

Spa vs home facials - September 6th, 2009

Is there a big benefit to going to a spa or can you get the same benefits from tips at home? I say if you can’t spend the money and go to a spa don’t. there are so many products out there that you can do really anything at home you could do at a spa. F you are looking for smoother and more moisturized skin all you have to do is put about a ¼ cup of dried milk and honey into a warm bath and soak in it. The milk helps get the dead skin cells off and the honey is a great moisturizer for the skin.

For a great facial use ¼ sup of yogurt and honey the yogurt does the same thing as the milk in the baths and exfoliates the skin while the honey helps moisturize just make sure you wash it all off with warm water and a wash cloth. Cucumbers are a great way to depuff your eyes after a long night and nothing is better than an at home pedicure. A great body scrub can be made of course salt and olive oil just rubs it all over your body in the shower and wash it all off your skin will glow.
